Truck drifts into I-64 median, losing some of its load | News

POSEY CO., IN (WFIE)- An Monday morning accident on I-64 just west of Poseyville has resulted in a lane closure.

A Posey County Sheriff's Deputy told us that a semi carrying car wiring harnesses was traveling eastbound on I-64.

The deputy says the driver fell asleep around Mile Marker 8. The truck drifted off the road, down into the median hitting some trees.

At last check traffic on that stretch of Interstate was down to one lane, and it could be that way a few hours, because there are still a lot of harnesses left to pick up.
