Flood warning for Ohio River at Mt. Vernon | News
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Ohio River at Mt. Vernon from late Tuesday night to next Tuesday, January 22.
At 6 a.m. Monday, the river was at 27.5 feet. Flood stage is 35 feet. The forecast is for the river to rise above flood stage by Wednesday morning and crest near 37.8 feet by Friday evening.
Minor flooding is forecast.
