Sobriety checkpoint results | News

Indiana State Police and Posey County Sheriff’s Office conducted a sobriety checkpoint on SR 62 at Plaza Drive between midnight and 2:00 a.m. Saturday.

During the two-hour period officers checked 61 drivers that passed through the checkpoint and didn’t find any impaired drivers. One driver was administered a field sobriety test and passed.

Troopers did issue seven traffic warnings and one traffic ticket during the checkpoint.
