Traffic stop for speeding nets meth, marijuana and prescription pills | News
A southern Illinois man was arrested Tuesday after Indiana State Police say they found meth, pot and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
A trooper says he stopped James Braddock, 44, of Eldorado, IL, around 9:40 a.m. for driving 75 mph in a 55 zone on SR 62 near Sauerkraut Road.
While talking to Braddock, the trooper says he detected an odor of marijuana inside the vehicle. A search revealed small amounts of marijuana, meth, pills and drug paraphernalia. Braddock was arrested and taken to the Posey County Jail where he was later released after posting bond.
