New Harmony area drug bust | Crime
Sheriff’s deputies, state police and U.S. Marshals converged on a New Harmony area home this week, arresting two people on drug charges.
The Mt. Vernon Democrat reports that the officers went to a home on Overton Road in the northern part of the county to execute an active arrest warrant for 45-year-old Lauri Cupp.
She was arrested and the homeowner then gave permission to search the house. Not long after, officers say they found meth, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia as well as ten firearms, most of which were loaded.
