Mt. Vernon man gets 20 year sentence for dealing drugs | Crime
A Mt. Vernon man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for selling drugs.
The Posey County Prosecutor's Office says Jeremy Quinn was arrested as part of a drug sweep last October.
As part of a plea agreement, he pled guilty of two counts of Dealing in Methamphetamine, both Class B felonies and two counts of Dealing Marijuana, both Class C felonies.
On two separate occasions in March of 2012, Quinn sold meth to a confidential informant who was working with the Posey County Narcotics Unit.
Quinn has a long criminal history including theft, burglary, drug dealing and aggravated assault.
He'll serve his time in the Indiana Department of Corrections.
